Full Name: Andrew John Richley
Born: April 1977, Sheffield, United Kingdom
Teams: Market Rasen Town Cricket Club; University of Wales, Lampeter 2nd XI; King’s School Rochester 2nd XI; Sherwood Cricket Club 2nd XI; Llandaff Cathedral School U13s
Nicknames: Fridge, Big Bird, Hightower, Unit
Batting Style: Right-handed ‘grafter’ – a one-man valium salesforce
Bowling Style: Right-handed off-break – more bounce than turn mind….
Andrew’s cricketing education began with a Size 4 Duncan Fearnley, helping his brother to re-arrange their parents’ garden via the medium of leather and willow. Prep School saw Andrew learn the value of a good forward-defensive and the Richley prod has not changed much in the decades that have followed. Senior school saw Richley ascend to the giddy heights of 2nd XI Captain, until a regrettable incident over an LBW decision against Caterham 2s cut short his first stab at captaincy.
Currently 2nd XI Captain of Market Rasen Town Cricket Club, ‘Fridge’ hangs around grimly towards the top of the order as younger, more talented, cricketers slash and dash around him. Being Captain, he also gets to send down his amazing non-turning off-breaks.
Andrew
A colleague of mine alerted me to the very kind comments you have made about the music at Holy Trinity Guildford. It is very good to have this kind of encouragment.
Do visit us again if you are in Guildford and make yourself known to me; you would be very welcome to play the organ at Holy Trinity if you would like to.

With all best wishes
